Vacancy for Parish Councillor on Bradley Parish Council
Bradley Parish Council currently has a vacancy for a Parish Councillor which will be filled by co-option.
The Parish Council is looking for a motivated and community-minded individual who is interested in supporting and representing the residents of Bradley and helping shape the future of the parish.
No previous experience is necessary, and support and guidance will be provided.
What does a Parish Councillor do?
Parish Councillors work together to:
• Represent the interests of the local community
• Help make decisions on local services and projects
• Consider planning applications and local issues
• Support community initiatives and events
• Help improve the parish for residents
Who can apply?
To be eligible, applicants must:
• Be at least 18 years old; and
• Be a British citizen, qualifying Commonwealth citizen, or citizen of the Republic of Ireland
Applicants must also meet at least one of the following criteria:
• Be registered as a local government elector for the parish; or
• Have lived, worked, or owned property within the parish (or within three miles of it) for at least the previous 12 months.
How to apply
Applicants should complete a Co-option Application Form and return it to the Clerk.
Applications can be submitted by email to: clerk@bradley-pc.gov.uk or given to a current member.

Selection Process
Applications will be considered by Full Council at a public meeting, where applicants may be invited to introduce themselves and answer questions from councillors.
